Amb. Alomatu Osei-Agyeman meets FIMA Industries GM

Vienna, Austria – March 12, 2025 – Ghana’s Ambassador to Austria, H.E. Alomatu Osei-Agyeman, held a productive meeting with Mr. Markus Maierhofer, General Manager of FIMA Industries, to explore opportunities for expanded collaboration in industrial development and sustainability.

The discussion focused on advancing joint efforts in green technology, with particular attention to sustainable waste management solutions. Key areas of interest include waste-to-energy initiatives and enhanced recycling practices—sectors where FIMA Industries is offering technical support and expertise.

Ambassador Osei-Agyeman emphasized the importance of leveraging such partnerships to drive industrial growth in Ghana while promoting environmentally responsible practices.

In addition to industrial cooperation, the Ambassador commended FIMA Industries for its support of rural education in Ghana. Through its Sustainable Rural Education Initiative, the company is contributing to the renovation of classroom infrastructure in underserved communities—a gesture hailed as both meaningful and impactful.
