Treasures of Africa: Ghana Art Exhibition

To mark the 66th Anniversary of the Independence of Ghana, the Embassy & Permanent Mission of Ghana organised an Art Exhibition with the title “Treasures of Africa: Ghana Art Exhibition” from 22nd February to 7th March 2023. The art exhibition is the first of a series of events to showcase the wealth and diversity of African art and to provide a platform for Africans to tell their own story through creative ways. The rationale of the event was to provide a lever for networking and exploring the vast potential that the continent has to offer for mutually rewarding engagement and investment. 

The climax of the exhibition took place at the Chancery on 7th March, 2023. Present at the event were Austrian officials, Ambassadors in Vienna, representatives of business entities with interest in Ghana, Africans and Ghanaians living in Austria and people with interest in African arts and culture.
