On 29th October 2025, the Ghana Embassy and Permanent Mission in Vienna, led by the Ambassador and Permanent Representative, H. E. Matilda Alomatu Osei-Agyeman, held a strategic meeting with the leadership of BOKU – University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, led by Rector Univ.-Prof. i.R. Mag.Mag.Dr.iur. LL.M. Eva Schulev-Steindl.
The meeting reviewed the status of the MoU signed with the University of Ghana, focusing on mutual priorities such as:
- Collaborative field research in Ghana’s Upper East Region;
- Postgraduate exchange and joint supervision;
- Engagement with Africa-UniNet and Erasmus+ funding platforms.
H.E. Alomatu Osei-Agyeman commended BOKU for its continued commitment to knowledge-sharing and sustainable development. The partnership will be a key highlight in the forthcoming Ghana–Austria Political Consultations with prospects for expanding cooperation.
