On Saturday, 23rd August 2025, I led a delegation of the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Ghana in Vienna to Salzburg for the first-ever consular outreach to the city since the opening of the Embassy in 2020.
The historic visit also marked the first mobile passport application service in Salzburg, reflecting a new policy direction to bring consular services closer to Ghanaians across Austria during outreach programs.
The engagement provided an opportunity to interact with the Ghanaian community in Salzburg, listen to their concerns and strengthen bonds of unity and national identity. Ambassador Matilda Alomatu Osei-Agyeman updated the community on preparations by host authorities for the introduction of consular services in Ghana, a development that will ease travel, business and educational exchanges between the two (2) countries.
