Consular Section
The Embassy provides consular assistance, information & advice.
Ghanaian nationals who find themselves in difficulty in a foreign country can seek the advice and assistance from the Embassy. Ghanaian nationals with emergency circumstances or seeking to access Consular Services outside the consular hours should telephone the Mission for an appointment.
Please note that you may not be attended to if you visit the Consular Section outside the opening hours without an appointment.
Political, Economic, Trade & Investment
The embassy promotes friendly cooperation with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations between Ghana, the host country and countries of concurrent accreditation.
The embassy promotes the Ghanaian economy in the host country. It offers support to companies in Austria interested in export and import, investment and establishing networks with business partners in Ghana.
The embassy monitors the economic and political situation in Austria and communicates developments that are of interest to Ghana.
Diaspora Section
The Embassy seeks to promote & protect the interest Ghanaian citizens in Austria.
Education, Arts & Culture
In the area of education, arts and culture, the Embassy fosters collaboration with the relevant institutions in Austria with the aim of strengthening and promoting mutually beneficial cooperation.
