Christmas & New Year Message from the Ambassador

My Dear Compatriots,

As we wrap up the year 2025, I take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude and that of my team, at the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Ghana, for the positive collaboration that we have enjoyed throughout the year.

From the moment I assumed office about a year ago, we have enjoyed deep engagements and meaningful partnerships that have affirmed Ghana’s progress and the role of our diaspora-a source of profound joy and our cherished 17th Region. Your commitment to Ghana remains a constant source of inspiration.

Ghana continues to make progress at home and abroad, consolidating democracy, advancing economic reforms, and strengthening our international standing. Our achievements are made possible not only by the efforts of government but also by the vital contributions that you, our diaspora, continue to make on various fronts, including strengthening identity and community bonds.

I also encourage you to think about how we can translate the energy of our diaspora into opportunities for Ghana, through investment, skills transfer, and mentoring. Education, technology, health, and entrepreneurship are all areas where your contribution can make a meaningful difference.

Our youth and women remain at the heart of both our community here in Austria and back home in Ghana. The Embassy will continue to support initiatives that empower them, and I invite you to bring forward ideas for workshops, mentorship programmes, and cultural exchanges.

Relations between Ghana and Austria are strong and growing. We are working together in areas such as education, trade, technology, and culture. As Ghanaians in Austria, you are also ambassadors for our nation. Through your conduct and achievements, you help shape perceptions of Ghana and create openings for deeper cooperation.

As we look back at our engagements in 2025, let us look into the future with optimism, remain united and purposeful. Together, we can build a stronger Ghanaian community here in Austria while contributing to the development of Ghana.

As your Ambassador, I pledge to continue working tirelessly to serve your interests and to strengthen the bonds between Ghana and Austria. Our doors remain open to all of you.

May this festive season bring you and your loved ones peace and joy. I wish you a blessed and exciting year ahead filled with new opportunities, shared victories, and continued growth.
