Vienna, 7th November 2025 — H.E. Ambassador Matilda Alomatu Osei-Agyeman, paid a working visit to the Austrian State Printing House (OeSD) to strengthen cooperation on secure identity solutions and Ghana’s digital health transformation.
The discussions focused on the successful collaboration between OeSD and Ghana’s National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), particularly the development of the MyNHIS App, which allows citizens, residents and members of the Ghanaian diaspora to register as well as renew their health insurance digitally. The platform, which integrates with the Ghana Card for identity verification, represents a major step forward in expanding access to healthcare and improving service efficiency through technology.
Ambassador Osei-Agyeman commended OeSD for its continued collaboration with Ghana and its contribution to building local technical capacity. She underscored Ghana’s commitment to advancing innovation, digital governance and citizen-centred service delivery, in line with Sustainable Development Goals 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and 16 (Strong Institutions).
The visit highlights Ghana’s leadership in digital transformation and reflects the growing partnership between Ghana and Austria in innovation, technology and economic diplomacy.
